Our Core Values include integrity, trust and loyalty.Relevant Experience:Proven experience in grounds maintenanceRelevant Education:High school diploma or equivalentCertifications/Licensing:NoneResponsibilities:Perform Roads and Grounds Maintenance, to include roads, pavements, drainage systems, culverts, etc. Maintain and repair roads and parking areas to include, crack sealing, pothole repair, curbing, gutters, traffic, and pavement markings and paint stripingComply with Cavalier SFS plans, policies, and procedures, generate and maintain all Government records in the format provided. Provide electronic reports to the GovernmentApply industry standards and commercial best practices, in the absence of directive technical orders and publications. Comply with local, state, and federal statutesSafeguard all assets and information and follow Industrial, Physical and Operational Security requirementsProvide escort support for personnel without unescorted entry authorization that are performing contracted functionsComplete the following web-based training within the first three months of arrival and on an annual basis thereafter: Force Protection, and Cybersecurity and Awareness ProgramPerforms seasonal tasks such as the following: cuts grass, pull weeds, and trims bushes. Perform minor landscaping (maintenance of trees, shrubs, lawns, plants, flower beds, and rock beds) and Service Area cleanupRemoves ice and snow from sidewalks, entrance ways, and other public pedestrian areas and prevent the potential for hazardous snow or ice accumulation. Keep roads in a passable condition in all weather conditions and keep fire hydrants accessibleMaintain and repair sidewalks and steps to ensure safe access and passage. Sidewalks and steps will be free of snow, drifts, piles, and iceMaintains an orderly and clean specified area following general instructions regarding the tasks to be performedSweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using heavy industrial powered equipmentPerforms other duties not limited to general housekeeping, safety and environmental practices, requisitions parts, monitors cleaning and janitorial suppliesPerforms touch up protective coating and painting and corrosion control as directed ensure the integrity of all RP/RPIEKeep facilities within the Service Area free of pestsPicks up litter from immediate area outside the buildingClearance Requirements:Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
