Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Requirements:Supervisory Responsibilities:Lead, motivate, and support production team within a time-sensitive and demanding environmentIncrease the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance Dalton Ags internal capacityEnsure operational activities remain on time and within budgetOrganize and oversee the work and schedules of departmental supervisorsDevelop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocolsDuties and Responsibilities:Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer serviceComputer skills with ability to navigate proprietary software. Experience with ERP systems preferredEnsures organized, clean and injury free working environmentDiligence in good housekeeping processes within manufacturing areas as well as exterior building and groundsProjects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and communityOther Duties and Responsibilities:Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies to achieve operational efficiencyStrong problem-solving skillsSuperior verbal and written communication skillsSuperior managerial and diplomacy skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent analytical, decision-making, and critical thinking skillsEducation/Experience:High School Diploma required, Bachelors Degree preferred3 years manufacturing experienceWork environment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computerOutside work required, ability to function in all elements of weatherAbility to lift up to 50 poundsSafety glasses, safety shoes and hearing protection are required in all manufacturing areasOther PPE as required
