Join Our Team as a Staff Accountant to oversee and assist with our Grants!Location: Lewistown or Miles City preferredEmployment Type:Full-Time (40 Hours per week)Salary (Wage): $24.74-$26.69/hr DOEPosition Summary:The Staff Accountant - Grants plays a crucial role in managing One Healths grant and contract portfolio. This position involves financial stewardship, budget preparation, and compliance with GAAP and grant regulations.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate: Utilize advanced knowledge to manage organizational projects, programs, and grants.Collaborate: Communicate across teams to involve appropriate stakeholders in specialty area initiatives.Steward: Oversee financial aspects of grant contracts, including budget preparation, monitoring, billing, and reporting.Ensure: Maintain compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local grant terms, and HRSA regulations.Prepare: Create and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.Verify: Ensure accuracy and allowability of transactions within grant/contract budgets.Support: Assist with audits, budgets, and compliance benchmarks.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Associates Degree or in lieu of degree, four (4) years of experience field, or a combination of schooling and experienceExperience: One (1) years of experience in bookkeepingSkills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Sage Intacct or other accounting software preferred.
