Our internal culture is one that promotes respect and consistently recognizes the impact that individual employees have on the mission of the organization.Position Summary:Office Manager for Gunnison Family Practice and Ephraim Family Medicine Urgent Care. Responsible for the supervision of department staff, for facilitating a smooth workflow in a stressful and fast paced environment, seeing that the office runs efficiently at all times, and that the patient's needs are taken care of in a timely manner. The Office Manager must be able to work without supervision, exercising independent judgment drawing upon experience and background to complete assignments. The Office Manager is responsible for all phases of work, from determining priority to completion and also monitors and is responsible for the accuracy and quality of work performed by the department staff.Essential Job Functions: Interacts daily with physicians to ensure proper flow of communication. Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Coordinates time off. Manages reports and overtime. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to Clinic policies and procedures. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances. Manages difficult or emotional patient situations. Responds promptly to patient's needs. Ensures good patient relations. Actively participates in meetings as required. Maintain physician schedules and call schedule. Maintain adequate supply levels. Submits orders in timely manner and ensures all orders are received and recorded accurately. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and additional reports as needed. Oversees department supervisors and participates in employee operations. Performs annual performance evaluations and determines employees pay raises as allowed by pay scales and budgets. Manages Satellite locations. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous medical office management or relative experience. Analytical and management ability to manage processes for efficiency and customer service improvements. Ability to generate reports for analysis and implement actions to resolve problems or improve office workflow. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work alone with minimal supervision and as a team player working with physicians, administrator, and patients. Hours:Monday - Friday, some Saturdays, 40 hours each week
