Job DescriptionJob DescriptionShelby Manufacturing, a Bunzl company, is hiring for a Production Worker - Cloth Cutter. This position is responsible for pulling orders, prepping cloths and dyes, as well as cutting cloths accordingly.ResponsibilitiesPull orders each evening for the next dayHand out leather and dyesLearn the different types of leathers and the correct dyes for each style of glovePick up dyes dailyWeigh leather daily and recordKeep track of leather distributed to and returned from Cutters each dayTake cut parts to Staging area as neededFill in for Inspectors as neededPick up scrap leather and bale each dayStretch leather as neededPlain blocksBail cardboardSpread MaterialAttain appropriate dye(s)Cut cloth accordinglyMaintain records of cloths usedBox cut parts and set asideRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDCutting experience a plus, but not requiredDependableParticipate in Wonderlic TestSelf-StarterExcellent Math/Figures SkillsExcellent Communication SkillsMust be able to work Mon-Thurs 7:00AM-4:30PM and Friday 7:00AM-11:00AM.
