Production Operator

Located in Portland, NDProduction Operator - $20hr - $24hrHOURS: Full-timeLOCATION: Portland, NDREPORTS TO: Operations ManagerPOSITION SUMMARY:Production operator is responsible for monitoring the process to ensure equipment is ran efficiently to produce a high-quality product. Responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintaining neat and organized production records.Follow production SOPs and adhere to food plant GMPs in the workplace.Follow the Food Safety Plan put in place by the A department to ensure high level of sanitation and food safety.Loading and unloading trucks as needed.Perform general housekeeping of all production areas.Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.Assist maintenance department as needed.All other duties assigned by management.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneQUALIFICATIONS:Required Experience: NonePreferred Experience: Previous experience in a food environment.REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:Ability to lift up to 50 lbsKnowledge of Forklift safety and operationBasic knowledge of all Microsoft office applicationsREQUIRED EDUCATION:Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or equivalentSpecial Certifications, Courses or other Training Required: Forklift Certified preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Regularly lifting of up to 50 Ibs.Standing and walking for extended periods of time.Able to work in hotcold, dusty conditions.OTHER RELEVANT JOB INFORMATION:Must be able to work overtime and on weekends, occasionally on short notice.Basic knowledge of Microsoft office applications#1437LIExpress Office: Grand Forks 3325 South Washington StreetGrand Forks, ND 58201
