Packaging Operator

Located in Grafton, NDJob Title: Packaging OperatorJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Grafton NDPosition Overview:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will work closely with the Packaging Supervisor and Plant Operations Manager to ensure all seed packaging meets customer specifications with accurate labeling and high-quality standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, safety, and efficiency within our facility.Key Responsibilities:Safely perform all assigned work activities in accordance with company policiesApply correct tags andor labels to seed packages based on customer instructionsAccurately count and report inventory of bagged seedLift, move, and stack materials weighing up to 65 lbsStand for extended periods while filling and closing packaged productsSafely operate a forklift (certification required; training provided)Climb stairs and ladders as needed to monitor and adjust equipmentClean equipment thoroughly to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contaminationSupport the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management SystemMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work areaQualifications & Skills:Agricultural background preferredBasic computer skills required; advanced proficiency a plusFamiliarity with seed production or related processes is beneficialStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent communication and teamwork skillsDependable, punctual, and self-motivatedAbility to stay organized and manage time effectivelyRequirements:Must be able to read, write, and understand EnglishMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningComfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentPrior forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus#1437STExpress Office: Grand Forks 3325 South Washington StreetGrand Forks, ND 58201
