Food Plant Machine Operator

American Berry Company is looking for skilled machine operators for our day shift 6a-6p. Our Machine Operators follow a 2-2-3 schedule with 12 hour shifts. That means you have a three or four day work week, so you can work hard, but play harder!Our machine operators will keep our production line moving. They will be working onwith the following machines: extractorinfuser system, filter, evaporator, and dryer to help us produce sweetened dried cranberries and cranberry concentrate. Food manufacturing experience is a plus.We offer insurance plans, PTO, paid holidays, and more.ResponsibilitiesPerform startup, shutdown, and CIP on machines within our production facilityTroubleshoot equipment and work to maintain quality and output standardsComplete quality and other product testing as requiredOperate the HMI Control SystemMaintain accurate and timely paperwork and recordsUpdate lead andor managers on any issues or concerns from the shiftImplement and validate SOPsFollowing all safety guidelines and lockouttag out requirements at all timesFollow all food safety guidelines and GMP requirementsQualifications2+ years machine operating experience in a food plant requiredAbility to problem-solve and troubleshoot machinesStrong understanding and adherence to safety guidelinesMust be able to lift, push, and pull product generally around 20-30 poundsHMI Systems experience is a plusAbout American Berry CompanyAmerican Berry Company was founded by Willie Traina of Traina Foods and John Potter of Innovative Sales, Inc. in 2020.
