Run the job: handoff to production, be the primary daytime point of contact for crews and builders, manage changesCOs, and close out clean. Keep schedules moving and customers informed. Capture lessons learned to improve templates and processes.Typical time split: Estimating 50%+, PMcalls 10-20%, on-site 10% or less, the rest internal coordination.Note: Occasionally you may need to be available after hours or on a weekend to resolve an urgent project issue. It’s rare, but it happens.What good looks like Daily STACK takeoffs with 3-5 bid packages per day. Clear, proactive communication with builders, homeowners, and our installers. Point of contact during production; able to make sound judgment calls without hand-holding. Excellent customer experience and a reputation-enhancing closeout on every job. You 2+ years in construction estimating or PM (insulation a plus, not required). Confident reading plans and scoping work; organized and responsive. Steady under pressure, direct communicator, customers-first mindset. Valid driver’s license; comfortable with a few local site visits each week.Tools you’ll use STACK for takeoffs. Our internal job tools and templates. Company-provided laptop, phone, and everything else you need to pensation Base salary: $70,000-$85,000 DOE. Commission: 1% of collected revenue on jobs you estimate and run, paid after successful execution, payment is received, and the estimate is reasonably accurate (within agreed variance). Target total comp is six figures when you’re running a healthy book.
