Goodman Specialized Vehicles, LLCPosition: Fire & Emergency Vehicle Service TechnicianAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining fire and emergency vehicles, while supporting our Service Department and delivering exceptional customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical issues on fire and emergency vehicles, including brakes, transmissions, clutches, hydraulics, pumps, electrical systems, and engines.Perform routine inspections, scheduled maintenance, and test drives to ensure vehicle safety and performance.Maintain accurate records and keep work areas clean and organized.Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and professional development.Support the Service Manager and collaborate with other departments to ensure customer ply with all company health, safety, and OSHA regulations.Take initiative, embrace teamwork, and contribute to a positive work environment.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsExperience in heavy truck, fleet, or emergency vehicle repair preferred.CDL andor State Inspection Certification desired, but not required.Welding experience a plus.Must supply your own hand tools.Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Ability to liftpushpull 40+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and climbing ladders throughout the workday.Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.Must have a minimum of two years experience SALARY & BENEFITS:Competitive pay.Generous benefits package including employee health insurance coverage paid 100% by Goodman Truck & Tractor, dental, vision, 401k match, and paid time off.Training and certifications offer opportunities to further develop your expertise.Promotion from within is core to who we are - many in our management team have been promoted from within so there's room for advancement.Our ownership is active within every facet of our company, and they care personally about our employees and the name we represent.All resumes must be submitted to .
