Farmville Newsmedia, LLC is seeking a Multimedia Marketing ConsultantOur growing community media company seeks high achievers to sell multimedia advertising inthe Heart of Virginia. Our portfolio includes three newspapers, magazine, related websites and afull-service digital marketing agency.Successful candidates will possess the following characteristics:1. Energetic, optimistic self-starter2. Excellent verbal communication skills and good written communication skills3. Technologically proficient, including in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Google appsand browser-based applications4. Basic knowledge of -- or the ability to quickly understand -- retail and service businesses(the ability to meet with a business owner or decision-maker, understand the business and itsmarketing needs, and recommend a marketing program)Media sales experience isn't necessary. General sales experience is helpful but not essential ifone meets the criteria above. The work is fast-paced and requires one to hustle for business ina competitive pensation is a mix of base and commission. Pay range is from $25,000 annually withacceptable performance to $50,000 annually with outstanding performance.
