JOB PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to maintain facility operations by performing general maintenance tasks that prevent downtime and ensure production safety, quality and efficiency.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly outside and exposed to various weather conditions including hotcold temperatures and rainsnow conditions.Employee constantly uses fine motor skills, gross motor skills, eyehand coordination, coordination, nearfar vision and requires active hearinglistening.Employee frequently stands, walks, sits, kneels, bends, lifts up to 50 lbs, carries up to 50 lbs, pushes, pulls, and utilizes manual dexterity.Employee occasionally climbs and crawls.Employee is exposed to loud noises, heavy machinery, moving equipment, oil, debris, solvents, smokes, gasses, fumes and aggregate materials.Required PPE includes safety shoes above ankles, safety vests, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hats. Additional PPE required if performing special jobs.Pay Rate: $28 and up with experience. Premium pay available with 2 years experience. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESThe primary areas of responsibility include:RepairsMaintenanceGeneral HousekeepingREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESBasic math, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic skillsExcellent hand-eye coordination, comfortable working at high elevation and can problem solve by looking and listeningAbility to work as a team member and follow through with scheduled tasks and instructionsAble to use a wide variety of hand tools and troubleshoot repairsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredAt least one year of related experienceTRAVEL REQUIREMENTMay be required to travel to various company facilities to perform maintenance activitiesEXPECTED RESULTS AND ACHIEVEMENTSPerform general maintenance tasks of all facilities including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials in various forms of maintenance activitiesIncludes basic electrical, carpentry, metal fabrication, etc.Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the jobComplete basic duties inclusive of maintenance equipment operation to accomplish tasks required of projectsUpdates repair procedures for future use and to communicate project statusUtilize pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, shovels, welding tools, cutting torches and various safety devices to complete work ordersIdentify maintenance repair opportunities and safety concerns, work to eliminatefix, escalate to Maintenance Supervisor if additional resources requiredUpdates repair procedures for future use and to communicate project statusComplete required paperwork on time and correctlyOther duties as assignedPosting Date: 9252025Expires: 10242025Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
