Title: Relief CookSummary: Assists with development of monthly menus, purchasing food items, preparing food, and serving meals and record keeping as needed.  Performs duties of cook in absence of the cook. Days off will be Thursday and Fridays of every week. Qualifications:1.  High school diploma or equivalent.2.  One-year food preparation experience in institutional setting.3.  Physically able to perform duties - Medical exam and approval may be required. 4.  Neat clean appearance.5.  No evidence of alcoholdrug abuse for a minimum of two years.  If a history of chemical dependency, abstinence is required.Skills:1.  Ability to prepare and serve meals that are aesthetically appealing and nutritional. 2.  Knowledge of daily nutritional requirements.3.  High level of human relation skills.4.  Ability to express self clearly and concisely in both oral and written form.5.  Ability to supervise cleaning of kitchendining room.Responsibilities:1.  Plan menus and purchase foods.2.  Prepare and serve meals.3.  Perform general maintenance and cleaning of kitchen, dining room, and all equipment used in food preparationserving.4. Assist Cook in matters related to food services, such as food purchases, food delivery, etc. 5.  Maintain client confidentiality.6.  Perform other directives issued by the Executive Director.7.
