Where do you start?As an Entry Level Machinist, you will learn to:Operate CNC mills and lathesPerform necessary hand work on machined componentsRead and interpret blueprintsConduct in-depth inspections on machined componentsIdentify and troubleshoot quality issuesComplete and maintain accurate documentationPerform daily maintenance on machinesEstablish priorities and organize daily workApply Continuous Improvement principles in daily workPreferred Skills:- Strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic- Strong shop math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division wdecimals)- Basic Microsoft Excel a plus- National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is always welcomed, but not requiredHiring Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED- Pre-Employment Drug Screen- Proof to legally work in the United StatesBenefits & Compensation:- Four Day Work Week: Day Shift (6:00am - 4:30pm), Night Shift (4:00pm - 2:30am)- Health Insurance: Employer pays 100% of employee premium; HSA plan with employer match (up to $1500 annually)- Dental Insurance with Vision Benefit: Employer pays 100% of employee and dependent premiums- Simple Retirement Plan with employer match of up to 3% of annual gross wage- Supplemental Insurance: Employer pays 100% of employee premium for Short TermDisability, Long Term Disability, Life and AD&D insurance- Flexible Paid Time-Off (PTO) Plan- Award Winning In-House Training Program & External Training Opportunities- Culture of Openness - we communicate openly about business operations and goals, and share knowledge and expertise about manufacturing processes- Fun Company Events such as Golf Tournament, Picnic, Christmas Party, and Hacky Sack- Starting Wage: $20.00hourDO NOT contact A.R.E.
