This company is looking for skilled forklift operators who thrive on night shifts and enjoy being at the heart of shipping and production operations.Job Description:As a Forklift Operator Line Driver, you'll safely operate forklifts to load semi-trucks, move materials across the facility, and maintain accurate records of inventory and production. You'll also handle scheduling, tracking, and coordination of materials to ensure production deadlines are met.Responsibilities for the job include:Operate forklifts safely by moving levers and pedals to drive and control lifting apparatusInspect forklifts before each shift for safe operationFill and maintain all propane tanks and accessoriesReview production schedules and confer with supervisors to determine material requirementsTrack and requisition materials to meet production needs and job order prioritiesExamine delivered materials for accuracy and conformance to specificationsArrange in-plant transfer of materials to keep production on scheduleCalculate amounts of material required for job ordersMaintain manual or computerized records (inventory, production reports, status, and material location)Transport materials between departments as requiredArrange repair or assembly of materials and parts when necessaryMonitor and control movement of materials across the facilityExperience Required:Proven forklift operating experienceExperience working in a warehouse or production environmentSkills Needed:Safe forklift operation and material handling skillsAbility to read production schedules and follow instructionsStrong organizational skills for inventory tracking and reportingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and walk or climb stairs as neededGood communication and teamwork skillsWork Schedule:Rotating 2-2-3 schedule12-hour night shifts: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AMWays to Apply!• Email resume to • Call our office 503-654-3600• Stop by at our office in person• Fill out our online application at Apply today on the ExpressJobs app!
