MIG/TIG Welder- Days

Located in Tualatin, OR Salary: $23.00 - 27.50 HourA local Tualatin company is searching for a MIGTIG Welder who will spend the majority of the workday fabricating custom HVAC systems for industrial settings. The Welder is responsible for using various welding processes to weld, repair, andor join metal components holding shop standards. They will need to produce a quality product in a timely manner that conform to all written practices.This is an Evaluation-to-hire Position, and the company is growing with multiple incoming projects!You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Your job is important as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure.Your role is a critical area for incoming and outgoing projects for our clients. Our staff, including our welding teams will work independently, taking the lead on safety reporting and tracking, acting as an internal resource for recommendations for design.Welder job highlights:Allows ability to develop and implement processes to reach company objectives.All company equipment is long-standing and has great company benefits, culture and growth potentialWhat we look for in Welders:Responsible for welding metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to shop blueprints, SOE's, OMS's, to AWS specifications.Welding processes will include GMAW, FCAW, and Resistance Welding.Cuts metal using plasma cutter or grinding discs following shop blueprints.May be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards of AWS.May operate the following: Chop Saw, Crane, Die Grinder, Drill Press, Grinder, BandsawWork in a safe and efficient manner.Utilization of lean practices to improve processes and sustain good housekeeping.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Problem solvingMinimum 1 year of production weldingWilling to flex to different areas as neededDemonstrates safe working practicesAble to stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floorMust be able to lift 25lbs.Good manual dexterity.Must be able to climb ladders and work in high areasPay: $23.00 - 27.50 Hour Depending on Shift and ExperienceSchedule: Monday - ThursdayDay Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, once trained OT on Fridays is optional.Apply in 3 ways!Call us at Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pmSubmit your application via Be sure to submit your app to the West Tualatin location when you submit it.Stop by our office!
