Growing together.This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.We offer 4 weeks of paid on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule during normal business hours. Primary Responsibilities:Reviews electronic chart documentation ensuring correct patient, location, and no duplicate informationManages requests for documentation and informationScans documents in electronic medical recordsLocates, logs, retrieves, files, and delivers medical records stored in various mediums and systemsMay train and mentor co - workersAnalyzes documentation and tracks completion to meet regulatory requirementsPromotes principles of health information accuracy, transparency, currency, accessibility, relevancy, and reliabilityWork with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save documents and spreadsheets), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)Other duties as assigned Youll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma GED OR equivalent experienceMust be 18 years of age OR older1+ years of customer service experience within a hospital OR healthcare environmentExperience with Microsoft Office productsAbility to work full time onsite at 2925 Chicago Ave, Minneapolis, MN, 55407Ability to work any of our shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST from Monday - Friday. Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of customer service experienceRHIT OR RHIA certificationClerical OR administrative support backgroundHealth Information Management (HIM) experienceKnowledge of medical terminologyExperience with working within the health care Industry and with health care insuranceExperience with working in a hospital, physician's office, OR medical clinic settingExperience with working in a call centerExperience in communicating with patients & staff with various educational & socio - economic backgrounds Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
