Payroll

Payroll and its associated tasks are the primary job. Process weekly payroll for about 30 people, in a home improvement business. Pull time sheets, review, prepare, and post into 3rd party payroll system. some duties include, on-boarding and off-boarding employees, including initial hiring paperworkformsverifications, background checks, termination paperwork and recordkeeping, handling of child support orders, filling out forms for Workers Compensation, Paid Family Leave, and such.  Job also includes some bookkeeping items, such as reconciling credit card and bank statements. Other tasks may be needed such as ordering apparel, answering phones at times, paying some bills. The business if located in the city of Tonawanda, NY. The job is full-time M-F. Online QuickBooks experience is helpful as is knowledge of Microsoft email, Excel, and Word, as well as general computer knowledge.  Looking for a person who is pleasant, reliable, organized, trustworthy, motivated, adaptable, and will keep confidentiality. Some type of degree in Business or Accounting is preferred, but not mandatory.
