Top Job Located in Columbia Station , OH Salary: Based on Experience#LORAINWe are urgently seeking a hard-working individual to join our team!Job Description: Knowledge of machine in tool room machines.Work closely with other tool makers in an effort to learn the methods and technical aspects of tool making for heading and threading operations. Read BlueprintsYou'll utilize micrometers, calipers and tool room support gauging and equipment. Manufacture tools and fixtures for other manufacturing departments as required. You'll maintain machine tools and equipment in a safe operating condition and is alwaysmindful of potential safety hazards.Procures parts, equipment and services from venders and processes necessarypaperwork for purchasing of componentsFollows all general safety rules, procedures and regulationsAssists engineering with new job development. Assists engineering with bill of material updates.Must be familiar with ISO9001 IATF16949 ISO14001 processesand work instructions relative to the tooling department.Understands our Environmental Policy, our significant environmental aspects, their contributionto the Environmental Management System and the implications of not conforming to ourEnvironmental Management System.Understands our Quality Policy, our relevant quality objectives, their contribution to our QualityManagement System and the implications of not conforming to our Quality ManagementSystemEducation and work experience: High School Diploma or GED.Mechanical incline.Advance math skills including trigonometry and geometry Minimum 3 years of tool and die experience or technical training. Schedule: Monday - Friday 2nd shift. Physical Requirements: Lifting and transferring of a variety of materials weighing up to 40LBS.
