Top Job Located in Mason, OH Salary: $55,000 - $75,000, BOESales Engineer - U.S. & Canada | Mason, OH1st Shift | $55-$75k, Based on ExperienceExpress Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is now hiring to fulfill a Sales Engineer role for a manufacturing firm based out of Mason, OH. The Sales Engineer will serve to drive expansion of sales and existing account maintenance in assigned territory through providing sales and technical support to current and new client accounts, working closely with internal sales and other departments, and achieving budget and expansion goals.Core Functions:Set and achieve budget and expansion plan, reviewing requirements with management.Existing Customer SalesAccount maintenance & relationship development - Develop strong customer relations with key personnel, address any questions, concerns, or problems. Frequent overnight trips may be required.Understand consumer's demands and competitor's share of products. Obtain test opportunities to expand the business.New Account DevelopmentNew Account Development - search and investigate new account opportunities in the territory.Sales Network Development - Develop new account relationship through business contacts for increase sales.Product DevelopmentTechnical Inquiries - Understand customer's needs and requests. Propose Noritake products to meet customer's needs. Cooperate with technical division for proper design of products if needed.Technical Staff Support - Establish technical account contacts and engage a Noritake engineering team member to gain a better understanding of the customer's needs if necessary.EngineeringCustomer Technical Support - Provide technical support and suggestions to customers.Field Test Execution - Conduct on-site tests for verification of product's performance. Collect, analyze, and summarize test results from field tests to optimize performance.Design Proper Specification - Cooperate with technical staff to determine product specifications based on technological research, industry standards and consumers' needs & requests.Technical Data Management - Accumulate, categorize, and summarize technical data, performance data, and trial test data of products. Design and provide technical data for sales promotion emphasizing features of our products by presentation andor technical petitor's Study - Collect, analyze, and summarize technical and strategic data on competitors.Quotation ProceduresObtain Pricing - Obtain pricing information from our factories (in Japan, U.S., and Mexico)Estimating - Provide estimated price information and terms of conditions for products based upon policy and procedures.Follow Up - Prepare summary of estimated items in approved quote format and follow-up with the customer.Purchase Order ManagementCustomer Service Division - Provide Customer Service Department with part of purchase order information on timely basis to meet customer's needs.Factory Coordination - Communicate regularly with factory in US, Japan, and Mexico to update inventory and manage ventory ControlCommunicate regularly with the customers to maintain inventory levels as agreed to.Manage stocking contract.Collect Customer Production Information - Collect data and information on customer's production and consumption status to optimize inventory side SalesGeneral Inquiries - Handling general inquiry such as inside sales calls, e-mails.Sales Team Support - Office and sales support when required.Meeting AttendanceAttend meeting as required by supervisor and make progress reports using MS office tools.Develop and apply product knowledge on a level that can sufficiently answer customer questions with satisfaction.Understand and utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 system.Regularly provide management with progress reports on assigned duties.
