Position Summary:We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable multi-unit leader to enter our Area Leader Training Program. This role will involve training on store operations, engaging in various special projects, and establishing readiness to oversee multiple locations as opportunities become available. The right candidate will have a strong history of achieving sales objectives, advancing business initiatives, and maximizing profitability in their designated area.Key Responsibilities:- Formulate and implement strategic initiatives to meet sales targets while expanding our customer base.- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of managers and employees to uphold operational excellence.- Review and assess profit and loss reports to identify improvement opportunities.- Initiate strategies for process enhancement and efficiency in operations.- Carry out regular evaluations of employee performance and provide feedback aimed at enhancing team productivity.- Work alongside senior leadership on strategic planning and setting operational goals.- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring completion is timely and meets set objectives.- Foster communication between store managers and divisional staff.- Coach and support store managers in developing their management teams and overall staff.- Identify upcoming talent and cultivate successors for key positions at both the store and division level.- Collaborate with HR to support effective recruitment, hiring, training, development, and evaluation of store management and staff.- Oversee and coach direct reports on their functional duties, perform regular performance reviews, and give constructive feedback.- Willing to travel up to 50% to various store locations within the division.- Must have the capability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without accommodations.Required Skills:- Proven track record in sales, business development, and managing multiple units.- Strong management skills to lead and inspire teams successfully.- Exceptional leadership attributes with the ability to motivate and mentor others.- Experience in implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.- Proficient in project management, with a strategic approach to prioritization.Education & Experience:- A minimum of 3 years of management experience, preferably in a multi-location context.- Proven expertise in strategic planning, leadership, and profit & loss management.- Documented success in team supervision and driving sales performance.- Strong analytical capabilities with the proficiency to make data-driven decisions.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
