CNC Mazak Machinist

Top Job Located in Cicero, IL Salary: $20.00-$24.00+hr B.O.ECNC Operator Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Cicero IL Summary:Local Manufacturer near Brookfield, IL is currently seeking a CNC Mazak Machinist with Mill Tooling experience for our morning Shift with 3 years + experience within the precision machining industry.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate Mazak CNC lathe machines (Mazatrol programming)Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructionsSelect appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materialsPerform machine setup including tooling installation, offsets, and adjustmentsMonitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiencyInspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Make program edits and offsets as needed to maintain tolerancesTroubleshoot machining issues and perform basic machine maintenanceMaintain a clean and safe work environmentDocument production and quality records as requiredQualifications:5+ years of experience operating CNC lathes, preferably Mazak machinesExperience with Mazatrol control programmingAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&TStrong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materialsProficiency with measuring tools and inspection techniquesWork EnvironmentAbility to work in a shop environment with exposure to potentially hazardous machinery, loud noises, dust, mist, oils, and solvents.Benefits401(K)Health Insurance, including HSADental and Vision InsuranceShort and Long-Term Disability InsuranceLife, Dependent Life, and AD&D InsuranceVoluntary Term Life InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)9 Paid HolidaysFor more information email: Employment- Brookfield is a Locally Owned and Operated Staffing Company.
