Job Location: 32100 Stephenson Hwy., Madison Heights, MI 48071Position Type: contract( 12 months) with possible extensionPay Rate $25/hr on w2 with Benefits EducationBachelor's degree in chemistryQualifications:Prior Laboratory experience preferredPrevious experience in an Analytical laboratory highly desirable.Good Wet chemistry skills: titrations, filtration, dilution, extraction, gravimetric determinations; Knowledge and experience with GC-FID; ICP, IC, SEM/EDS and FTIR is desirablePrior use of pH and specific ion electrode metersAble to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent attention to detailStrong chemical math skills; Strong PC skills; Solid interpersonal skills.Responsibilities:Operation and routine Maintenance of Analytical EquipmentUpkeep of analytical methods/proceduresWork efficiently & effectively on major project Henkel teamsPreparation of quality customer reports & project portfolio managementCustomer interfacing (communication: correspondence, presentations, etc.)Compliance & Understanding of Corporate Standards (Safety, Housekeeping, Quality, etc.); Upkeep of Digital Programs (Microsoft, LIMS, Statistical Analysis, etc.).
