Annual Salary: $45k-$55k (varies depending on years of experience)The Office Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of a busy podiatry office. This individual leads the administrative team, oversees daily operations, and cultivates a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. As the primary point of contact for the practice, they are responsible for maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Promote a patient-first culture by ensuring every interaction is courteous, professional, and empatheticRespond to patient concerns and feedback promptly to maintain satisfaction and trustMaintain a clean, organized, and safe office spaceCoordinate timely resolution of facility maintenance and repair needsSupervise and support front desk and administrative staff, fostering teamwork and accountabilityGuide onboarding and training for new hires to ensure consistency and qualityServe as the central liaison for internal communications and practice coordinationImplement process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency and patient flowMonitor and ensure accurate collection of copays, outstanding balances, and product paymentsOversee insurance eligibility checks and authorization processesAddress billing inquiries and assist patients in understanding their financial responsibilitiesTrack and manage staff timesheets to control overtime and labor costsEnsure adequate staffing coverage based on provider schedules and patient volumeManage inventory levels and supply ordering to support uninterrupted operationsEncourage utilization of available ancillary services and products within the practiceWelcome patients warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out processAccurately enter and update patient information in the EMR systemConfirm appointments and follow-up visits, adjusting schedules as neededAnswer phone calls and emails professionally, providing timely and compassionate responsesProcess and scan documentation into patient records with precision and confidentialityRun end-of-day reports to reconcile transactions and ensure data integrityRequirements:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 3 years' experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a supervisory roleStrong multitasking and organizational abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCalm and composed under pressureDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracyTeam-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solvingAtlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.If you would like to learn more about the opportunities we offer, please submit your CV for consideration here.
