Title: Operations ManagerIndustry: Sports Golf Products (Private Label Import & Distribution)Reports To: OwnerWhy the Role is Open:This is a newly created position designed to support the company's growth goals for the upcoming year. The owner has been managing multiple functions and is now ready to delegate key operational responsibilities.Company Overview:A fast-paced, entrepreneurial golf company that imports private label products and distributes to major retailers. The company operates with a lean team and uses a 3PL for distribution.Team Structure:7-10 Full-Time Office Staff3-5 Part-Time AdminsKey Roles: Accountant, Salesperson, Logistics/Supply Chain Manager, Graphics, Office ManagerRole Summary:The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day office operations, manage staff, and provide strategic oversight in finance and supply chain. This person will be a key partner to the owner, helping to streamline operations, improve inventory turnover, and nurture team development.Key Responsibilities:Office & Staff Management: Lead and coordinate the office team, hold regular meetings, and ensure smooth daily operations.Finance Oversight: Work closely with the in-house accountant; bring higher-level financial expertise to budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with the purchasing lead to improve inventory turnover, manage lead times, and enhance supply chain efficiency.Operational Strategy: Support the owner by taking on operational tasks and helping drive growth initiatives.Culture Building: Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment; be a doer and a nurturer.Top 3 Priorities:People Management - Ability to lead and develop a small, diverse team.Financial Acumen - Strong understanding of accounting and financial strategy.Supply Chain Oversight - Experience optimizing inventory and logistics.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of operational experienceBachelor's degree in Finance or related fieldProven ability to manage teams and office operationsExperience in supply chain or logisticsHighly organized and detail-orientedEntrepreneurial mindset; comfortable in a fast-moving environmentGolf industry experience is not requiredSalary Range: $90,000-$100,000Structure: OnsiteBenefits:Health, dental, and vision, life, short/long term disability insurance401(k) offeringPaid time off and holidays Paid sick leave where applicable by state law.LHH is a leader in permanent recruitment"”and in the placement of top talent.
