Our client, a leading Fortune 100 insurance and financial service company headquartered in Columbus, OH, has multiple openings for Financial Customer Service Representatives!Role: Solutions Center Representative - Public RetirementPay Rate: $19 per hour, paid weeklyLocation of Assignment: 257 E. Town Street, Suite 457, Columbus, OH, 43215Schedule: 40 hours/weekAssignment Length: 6-12 months, opportunity for extension/conversion pending performance, attendance, and business needTarget Start Date: 10/27/2025, upon completion of new hire onboardingPosition will be fully onsite until (if/when) candidate is converted into full-time Nationwide Employee. Once converted, position would move hybrid, working both onsite and from home.Position Summary:As a Solutions Center Representative, you'll deliver exceptional service to members, partners, and financial professionals. You'll understand high-level product/plan requirements in order to best handle inquiries, resolve account concerns, and educate customers on plan benefits, all while building strong relationships and studying to take the SIE/Series 6 Examinations. Tenure at Nationwide is determined by ability to study for and pass the SIE/Series 6 Examinations.Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound calls from members, partners and financial professionalsInterpret policy changes and provide expert guidanceMaintain records and use insights to enhance customer relationshipsEnsure compliance with industry regulations and company policiesEducate customers on financial implications, penalties, and plan benefitsStrive for first-call resolution and collaborate with internal teams on escalated cases when neededParticipate in career development and goal-setting sessionsQualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is required; Recent degree in finance, business, insurance, economics, or communications preferredExperience: 1+ year in customer service or salesSkills:Knowledge of various insurance products and the sales processSolid understanding of legal implications of certain product features in different statesStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesComputer proficiencyUpon acceptance of offer, candidates will be required to submit to a 10-year criminal background check, urinalysis drug screen, and soft credit screen.
