Our client is known for its uncompromising commitment to excellence in care and service, creating a supportive and joyful environment for both residents and staff.The OpportunityOur client is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead their culinary team. This is a hands-on leadership role for a passionate and skilled professional who can elevate the dining experience for residents. You'll be responsible for the full scope of dining operations, from kitchen management and menu planning to financial oversight and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be committed to not only meeting but exceeding the culinary and nutritional needs of residents, making every meal a highlight of their day.What You'll DoLead with Excellence: Oversee all daily operations of the dining department, including kitchen production, meal service, and sanitation.Mentor a Team: Interview, hire, train, and supervise a team of culinary and service professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.Create Unforgettable Menus: Develop creative and appealing seasonal menus that meet the diverse nutritional needs of residents in assisted and memory care.Manage the Business: Provide input into the annual budget and business planning. Monitor and adjust staffing, inventory, and production to meet financial goals.Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all federal, state, and local laws related to dining services, including food safety and sanitation.Collaborate and Support: Partner with the sales and marketing team to plan and execute special events, and work with residents and their families to ensure a positive dining experience.What They're Looking ForExperience: At least 5+ years of experience in the culinary or hospitality industry, with comprehensive knowledge of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
