DescriptionThe Veterinary Technician Account Specialist plays a key role in delivering outstanding service and technical expertise to Vetoquinol customers in a call center environment. The Veterinary Technician Account Services Representative will provide education and technical advice to customers on Vetoquinol products, and provide service on their accounts with Vetoquinol.Essential FunctionsTechnician ResponsibilitiesKeeps abreast on company product offerings and current topics impacting animal health, providing technical expertise to customers who call or email the service centerEscalates calls as necessary to the Technical Service Veterinarians or Account Services Manager.Customer Service ResponsibilitiesPresents and discusses the products and services of the company in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needsManages inbound and outbound phone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skillsAssists every customer in a timely manner, organizes workflow to meet customer deadlines, with a sense of urgencyProcesses, confirms, and manages orders taken by phone, email or EDI integration, ensuring accurate entry into the order management system, in a courteous, efficient and timely mannerWorks with Warehouse team in cases of shipping damages or discrepancies.Works with Accounts Receivables specialist on customer accounts and works with customer Accounts Payable contacts to ensure invoices and credits are paid/utilized accurately.May be required to perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.General and Administrative Supports the corporate vision, mission and valuesCommunicates effectively with various management and operational departmentsComplies with all OSHA safety requirements, work rules and regulationsCompiles and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.Follows systems and procedures outlined in company manualsAll other duties as requested by managementThis role is 100% onsite, based out of Fort Worth, Texas, and requires on-site attendance Monday-Friday. Hybrid options may be available upon successful completion of the probationary period.QualificationsEducation & LicensureVeterinary Technician License (LVT) required.Associates degree in related field preferred.Knowledge & ExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of Veterinary Technician experience requiredExperience in a call center environment is highly preferableKnowledge of the animal health pharmaceutical industry for bovine, equine and companion animals is highly preferableComputer skills and experience in utilizing order management programs is required, including, but not limited to Microsoft 365 Applications, EDI Order processingExperience using JD Edwards is highly preferredPersonal AttributesExceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and with shifting priorities.Team player with effective communication skills.Vetoquinol USA is an equal opportunity employer.
