Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Inventory Planner to manage and optimize inventory levels across wholesale accounts. This role plays a critical part in supporting financial goals by ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time. The Inventory Planner will collaborate cross-functionally and leverage data-driven insights to inform planning and inventory decisions.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management:Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels for wholesale channels, balancing supply and demand to meet financial and operational targets.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner closely with sales, finance and production teams to align on inventory strategies and ensure inventory supports both sell-in initiatives and ongoing replenishment needs.Forecasting:Develop and update inventory forecasts, incorporating sales trends, and historical performanceInventory Analysis:Track and analyze inventory performance; identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete inventory and propose actionable solutions to improve turnover and reduce risk.Reporting & Insights:Create and present regular reports on inventory health, sales trends, and key risks or opportunities to senior management and stakeholders.Clear Communication:Maintain transparent and proactive communication on inventory status, upcoming purchase needs, and financial implications with cross-functional partners.Process Optimization:Continuously seek opportunities to streamline inventory processes, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance inventory flow across the supply chain.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field2-4 years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or supply chain managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Excel and Business intelligence toolsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSalary Range$80K - $100K depending on experience
