You'll be responsible for day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, ensuring safety, and delivering craftsmanship "” but above all, you'll make sure the process feels seamless and professional for everyone involved.This role is for someone who thrives in the details, leads with respect, and knows that the best supers don't just build "” they build trust.What You'll DoLead field operations on assigned projects (hospitality, restaurant, retail, and healthcare).Coordinate and direct subcontractors, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to Freeman's standards of quality.Serve as the on-site face of Freeman GC: anticipate client needs, maintain proactive communication, and represent our ethos of Hospitality ConstructionMaintain and enforce project schedules, identifying risks early and resolving conflicts before they escalate.Uphold safety as a non-negotiable standard for every person on site.Ensure field documentation is accurate: daily logs, inspections, punch lists, and progress photos.Partner with the Project Manager to control costs, manage changes, and deliver profitable projects.What Success Looks LikeJobsites run with calm precision, not chaos.Clients and architects leave the site impressed with professionalism and communication.Subcontractors enjoy working on your projects because you're fair, clear, and consistent.Projects finish on schedule, with quality that speaks for itself.What We're Looking For5+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction (hospitality/restaurant projects strongly preferred).Strong technical knowledge of building systems, sequencing, and construction methods.Proven ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.Excellent communication and leadership skills "” you hold people accountable without creating friction.A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and anticipates what's next.Alignment with our values: clarity, anticipation, care, and a long-term mindset.Why Freeman GCCulture of Care: We treat our supers as leaders, not taskmasters.Signature Projects: Build restaurants, resorts, and retail spaces that make an impact.Growth & Legacy: Be part of a young, ambitious firm scaling across the Southeast.Hospitality Construction: Work in an environment where the process is as polished as the product.
