Construction Project Director - Mission CriticalA leading construction firm is seeking a Project Director to oversee large-scale, complex projects in the mission-critical sector. This role combines technical expertise with executive-level project leadership and client development.Location: US-based, with extensive travel (70%+).Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project delivery from planning through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.Build and manage cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and performance.Develop project strategies, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.Oversee stakeholder communication with clients, executives, and vendors.Ensure compliance with industry standards and promote innovation in construction processes.Support new business efforts and play a key role in organizational growth.Qualifications15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ in a senior leadership role.Proven track record managing $100M+ projects in construction, infrastructure, or technology-related industries.Experience working for a large general contractor.Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).Familiarity with tools such as Procore, P6, BIM, and other project management systems.US driver's license, valid passport, and high willingness to travel.
