Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high-performing L&D team at a respected hospital in Utica, NY. Job Function Day Shift and Night Shift. 3x12. Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection-control standards Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care Job Requirements 4-5 years L&D experience required. Travel experience required. BLS. ACLS. NRP. Epic/Stork experience required.
