Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry (Stroke & Heart Failure) - Travel Key Skills & Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse license for Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses) At least 2 years of recent nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a related specialty Associates degree in nursing (BSN preferred) AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Ability to work 36 or 48 hours per week, including holidays and every other weekend Strong critical thinking, compassionate patient care, and team collaboration abilities Nice to Have Skills: Experience working with stroke or cardiac neuro patients Previous familiarity with Meditech EMR system Flexibility to float across units and hospitals as needed Preferred Education & Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or neuro-cardiac units Experience working in high-acuity settings balancing complex patient needs. $2074 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
