Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,412 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Intermediate Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2412.00 Opportunity: RN - IMC Job Details: Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Guaranteed 36 hours per week 13-week contract length Every other weekend and every other holiday required Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units Patient ratio of 4:1 Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum callback Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility 2+ years of stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience required ICU experience preferred At least 1 prior travel experience required Trauma Level II experience preferred Ventilator/Trach experience required Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS EPIC charting experience preferred Any color scrubs permitted Work with stable weaning vents/trach patients, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injuries, and stroke patients Manage insulin drips and primary patients Fast-paced unit requiring independent work and timely task completion Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring capabilities. The facility specializes in caring for patients requiring intermediate-level care including ventilator weaning, trauma recovery, and complex medical conditions.
