Role DescriptionThis position is for a Senior Scientist reporting to the Director of Pharmacology. We seek a dynamic and rigorous scientist with experience in pharmacology and pre-clinical drug development that serves as a leader from the bench. This role will be deeply involved in the planning and execution of in vitro and in vivo studies to define PK and PD properties of new drug candidates but will also serve as a mentor and manager for the research associates on the team. The role will be expected to work in the lab, but will also have the opportunity to manage a small research team and will be able to participate in all aspects of the drug discovery and development process, from program conception, data generation and presentation of results, through IND-enabling studies. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and innovative individual who is excited to participate in a collaborative, dedicated and positive team, and will play a key role in our R&D group to enable the discovery and development of novel therapeutic proteins.Responsibilities:• Design, conduct, and analysis of experiments supporting pharmacology strategies to evaluate drug candidates in terms of efficacy, dose-response, and biomarkers in appropriate models in vivo and in vitro• Clearly document, interpret, and present results to diverse audiences• Lead and manage scientists and associates and support their development• Support other team members and help organize/upkeep work environment• Stay abreast with project-related scientific literature Qualifications:• Ph.D. degree in pharmacology, cancer biology or similar, with 4+ years experience in drug development• Expertise in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, immunology and tumor biology• Experience with antibody-drug conjugates and/or immune-engagers preferred• Experience managing key project deliverables for multiple projects• Strong computer skills, including GraphPad Prism, FloJo, and MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Highly collaborative and excellent communication skills• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and cross-functional team environmentCompensation:In addition to a competitive compensation package with stock options, the company also offers a comprehensive benefits package for our employees and their families, which includes medical, dental, vision, and supplemental disability insurance.Job Type: Full-timeAnnual Salary:$145,000.00 - 165,000.00 per year Supplemental Pay Types:Bonus payBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insuranceParental leaveRelocation assistanceRetirement planVision insuranceEnd of year shutdown
