Our quality craftsmanship can be found in the steel structures supporting a diverse range of projects, and in the architectural details enhancing commercial, healthcare, and educational facilities across California.Position OverviewThe purpose of this position is to review, check and manage accuracy of the final drawings, making sure all AISC standards are met along with project revisions in the final documents.ResponsibilitiesMaintain effective communication with Job Captain and project team membersStrong background in miscellaneous metals, stairs, structural and architectural detailingReview fabrication shop and field erecting drawings for accuracy and conformance with AISC standards, project requirements, and BAPKO standardsCheck Drawings (E-sheets & shop details)Ensure accuracy of dimensions, material specifications, and fabrication details on shop drawingsReview design drawings for accuracy and completeness, and coordinates resolution of discrepancies and/or missing information with project teamReading and interpreting architectural, structural, other design drawings and specifications.Review RFI's, bulletins, etc., that impact changes in scopeReview drawing submittals from detailers and provide feedback and corrections before submission to customerReview TEKLA model to check accuracy of connections, dimensions, materials.
