Senior Electrician

Dice is currently partnering with a manufacturing customer to assist in hiring a Senior Electrician on a full-time, permanent basis. This position must be performed 100% onsite in Arvada, CO.Job Title: Senior ElectricianLocationArvada, CO (On-site)Pay Range: $37-40 per hourJob Type: Full-time/PermanentJob DescriptionThe Senior Electrician will install and test all electrical systems associated with the production of skidded compressors and pumps as designed by the Sundyne Electrical Engineers and Controls Group.Job Duties:Layout electrical installation as required by Sundyne drawings and 3D modelsInstall conduit or cable tray systems as designedInstall cabling in either conduit systems or cable trayIdentify and install field devices as necessaryTerminate all wiring at control cabinets, junction boxes, field devices, motors, etc., per electrical drawingsConnect all motors, VFD's, and other electrical equipment required for testing purposesPerform and assist in testing to include transmitter functional test, factory acceptance test, impedance test, etc. Set up fail-safe procedures for functional testing at all test standsDiagnose malfunctioning systems, equipment, components, etc. associated with productionInstall and maintain equipment associated with test stands, including repairs and upgrades; be familiar with all control systems for test standsAbility to manage and coordinate additional electricians (contractors) as requiredMay be required to flex into building maintenance during either slow production times or for specific required building projects (must be capable to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, installation as needed)Job requires constant standing, walking, and working in awkward positions during installationJob Qualifications:Minimum High School diploma or equivalentMust possess and maintain a valid Journeyman's License (minimum) issued by the State of ColoradoMinimum 5 years of related experienceMust be able to work in team and individual settings Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawingsMust be able to communicate/coordinate with others during installation (supervisors, installers, engineers, etc.)Experience and familiarity with building systems and production equipment, including switchgear, disconnects, panelboards, control cabinets/systems, VFD's, etc.Familiar with applicable domestic and international codes, including NEC, Atex, IeCEX, etc.Certifications in: NFPA 70e, Arc Flash Hazard training, CPR, Platform work, hoisting and rigging NOTE: These certifications may be obtained/updated through Sundyne
