The professionals we seek will be team-oriented, dedicated, and adaptable individuals with a desire for development, growth, and success.Support clients in safety-related initiatives aimed at optimizing safety programs, safety outcomes, and safety cultureSupport federal transportation clients in delivering transportation safety-related technical assistance, outreach, and support to state-level multi-modal transportation agenciesDevelop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client improvementsParticipate in client meetings and support clients in developing clear and concise reports and briefing materialsSupport team collaboration and quality assuranceWhat You Will NeedBachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university3 - 5+ years of consulting experience in federal, state, or local transportation consulting/researchProficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional analytical problem-solving skillsDetail oriented, flexible, proactive, and able to prioritize tasks quickly to adapt to changing client priorities and respond to ad-hoc requestsMust be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with GuidehouseDue to contract requirements, US Citizenship restrictions applyThis hybrid position role may require up to 3-5 days on-site at the Client's office This hybrid position is open to candidates who will reside within 50 miles of DCWhat Would Be Nice To HaveBachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering, planning, policy, or a transportation disciplineProfessional Engineer license, AICP certification, or EIT certificationExperience in federal consultingExperience working with federal, state, or local transportation organizationsExperience in transportation safety or developing safety action plansThe annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
