The Coil Winder reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for operating basic machines and deburring, or light assembly, in an industrial setting. Record applicable data as required.Perform curing process of parts and inspect according to visual requirements.May require applying hot dip method or touch up method of stacks and return paths.What We Are Looking ForLevel I:High school diploma or equivalent requiredNo related work experience required.The ability to see details (e.g., letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner.May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations. Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects. Work is performed in area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.Level II:High school diploma or equivalent required1-2 years of related experienceProficiently to perform 3 of the following tasks: winding and ball fusing; prepare wires and cables for solder and encapsulation; perform post encapsulation processes, which includes finishing, epoxy sealing and potting, identifying; electrical testing, which includes hi-potential, resistance measurement; and polarity testing; and setup and operate transfer molding presses for coil and cable molding.May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
