Demand Planner / Scheduler

Now Hiring: Demand Planner / Scheduler I'm partnering with a leading wholesale distributor to recruit a Demand Planner / Scheduler for a newly created role. This is a chance to make a real impact - you'll be building processes from the ground up, driving forecasting, and shaping how planning and scheduling runs across the business.What you'll be doing:Develop and maintain demand forecasts using customer data, history, and supplier lead timesTranslate forecasts into supply and production schedules for SKUsPartner closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to align supply with demandMonitor inventory, safety stock, and replenishment needs to avoid shortages/excessesCreate scheduling plans for inbound shipments and production ordersProvide purchasing teams with accurate needs for procurement and budgetingLead reporting and analysis, presenting insights to managementPlay a key role in setting up and defining demand planning processes (this function doesn't yet exist - you'll own it!)What we're looking for:Experience in demand planning, scheduling, or supply chainStrong Excel skills (reporting, forecasting, pivot tables, functions)ERP/MRP experience (Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus)Automotive or wholesale distribution background highly valuedAnalytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionallyConfident self-starter who can own and build out the functionWhy join? ? 100% employer-covered health benefits (including family) ? 2% 401k match ?
