If you are passionate about delivering excellence and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, this role is for you.Responsibilities:Work directly under the Vice President within the Business Development & Estimating Department.Attend job walks with ownership or general contractors to assist in electrical and low-voltage scope development.Estimate projects based on job walks, scope of work, electrical drawings, or architectural drawings.Identify scope gaps based on code requirements and accurately estimate costs.Value engineer scopes of work to minimize costs while maintaining all requirements.Negotiate project costs and budgets with customers.Facilitate vendor quotes and ensure competitive pricing for large packages like switchgear and lighting.Prepare submittal packages, create project budgets, and transfer project information to the operations team.Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and ownership groups.Be willing to travel to various states (AZ, CO, MT, NV, NM, OR, TX, WA, WY) as needed.Must-Have Skills:Proficiency in the National Electrical Code, Green Building Requirements, and Title-24.Experience with Microsoft Suite, Bluebeam, Accubid, and CRM tools.Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating.Ability to drive a company car with a clean driving record.Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with multi-unit construction or renovation projects.Knowledge of low-voltage systems and their integration into projects.Established network within the construction and electrical contracting industry.Familiarity with architectural design processes and construction documentation.Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills.
