Construction Project Manager

This position is primarily office-based but will require visits to area job sites.What You'll DoEstablish and/or maintain WLF as a trusted partner to GC's and other project stakeholdersMaintain a positive image with vendors, subs, clients, and teammatesAnticipate problems and proactively solve as win-win for company and GCDevelop preliminary job schedules for projectsEnsure all jobs stay on scheduleAttend and lead all project meetingsVisit jobs on a regular basis to review the effectiveness of site supervision, job progress, quality of work, and safety on the jobBe responsible for standard project administration tasksPrice change ordersRead and understand construction drawings, specifications, and technical reportsRead and understand contract agreementsTrack all submittalsPrepare all monthly requisitionsWork with accounting to approve all invoicesUpdate and review schedules monthlyMust be proficient with Microsoft Office, including ProjectKnowledge of Carlson Earthwork Takeoff, Procore, and B2W estimating software helpfulCollaborate with the safety departmentWho You AreBachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management3+ years of experience managing multiple complex commercial projects (up to $20M) as a site subcontractorProven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, high energy, drive, and desire to improveStrong interpersonal skills (communication, tact, negotiation)Strong customer service focusProblem solver - innovative and initiative to get the job doneWho We AreNamed to USA Today national and Boston Globe Top Places to WorkBest-in-Class, industry leaderContributor to large, high-profile construction projects in MassachusettsA family-based company culture with a paramount focus on employee well-being and safetyIn 2019, W.
