They are looking for a high-energy, team focused, engineering detail adept individual to help them continue their legacy.Primary Responsibilities:Work with all field service technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality serviceReceive and prioritize service calls and set proper expectations with customersPrepare estimates for quoted service jobs and ensure labor and material estimates are metIdentify training needs for technicians and find appropriate training classesOccasionally check workmanship of technicians in the field (maintenance and service)Be familiar with Safety requirements and ensure technicians are following protocolsOptimize labor by ensuring that technicians are scheduled properly according to location and expertiseIdentify opportunities for upgrades and train technicians how to recognize theseRespond to customer complaints professionally and ensure the response is sufficientEstablish positive, professional relationships with various vendors and communicate effectively with themProvide technical support over the phone and determine when field assistance is neededOversee the daily dispatching, maintenance, ordering of parts and job schedulingReview warranty issues, make sure proper warranty paperwork is filled out and parts returned for creditHandle On-Call scheduleSpend 60% in office & 40% in field estimating quoted service/small install jobs & working with techsEnsure all technicians are properly trained and versatile with HVAC toolsReview all work orders daily to follow up with anything that has recommendationsMonitor labor and material estimates for PM contracts and identify contracts that are off trackRequirements:3+ years of HVAC field serviceExperience working with Trade Unions in PhiladelphiaExperience with Construction Project Management SoftwareProficient in plan reading and related installation coordination.Additional Pluses:Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, Visio and/or project scheduling softwareMaster Plumbers LicenseKnowledge of IBC Construction, Mechanical & Plumbing CodesBenefits: 401(k)AD&D insuranceDental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planExperience:Philadelphia Trade Union: 2+ years (Preferred)Blueprint reading: 2+ years (Preferred)Project management: 2+ years (Preferred)
