We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Planner & Purchasing Associate to assist in coordinating the procurement of materials and optimizing inventory levels to meet production demands. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of supply chain management principles.If you are passionate about outdoor equipment and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesPlace purchase orders in a timely manner, considering lead times, production schedules, and inventory targets.Manage customer purchase orders from the front-end CRM through to production.Oversee local supply chain procurement, ensuring timely ordering, tracking, and delivery to meet customer installation deadlines.Maintain up-to-date account records, ensure timely payment of bills, and establish accounts with new suppliers as needed.Monitor inventory levels and track usage patterns to identify potential shortages or excesses.Develop and maintain comprehensive demand plans to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other factors to accurately predict future demandGenerate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.Work closely with suppliers to address any supply chain disruptions and implement contingency plans as needed.Collaborate with other team members or departments to address complex customer concernsEscalate unresolved matters to higher-level management when necessaryGenerate reports and documents as requestedMaintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solvingProvide feedback on processes to innovate our approaches at all timesManage other relevant responsibilities as they arise based on team discussionsQualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets requiredPrior experience in supply chain purchasing essentialBackground in developing or overseeing inventory systemsExperience with managing inventory and executing planning models2-4 years of planning experienceBachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferredProficient in Google Workplace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides), especially SheetsAnalytically-minded but also able to talk personably and articulatelyExperience working with complicated spreadsheets a plusStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesAttention to detail and accuracy in record keepingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional and collaborative demeanorProblem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindsetForward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutionsExcellent time management skillsLove of the outdoors or an outdoor enthusiastRepresent the Tune brand with a positive and engaged attitudePhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds at timesStand, bend, and reach for extended periods at trade showsComfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust and noiseJob TypeFull-timePay$57,784-$70,000Benefits Full health, dental and vision employer paid insurance coverage after ~60 days9 paid holidays plus a paid winter break (Dec 26th-Dec 31st)2 weeks of paid time off$15k in employer paid life insurance3% Simple IRA matchingTune M1 Employee Marketing ProgramScheduleMostly onsite, with flex WFH days available.Supplemental pay typesDiscretionary bonus pay based on Tune salesJoin our team at Tune Outdoor and be part of a company that values its employees and takes pride in creating top-quality truck campers for outdoor enthusiasts.
