Inventory & Deployment Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory & Deployment Specialist to oversee the intake, preparation, tracking, and deployment of equipment, including credit card terminals and POS systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, accurate inventory management, and seamless equipment distribution while supporting continuous process improvement. Key ResponsibilitiesManage equipment intake, including cleaning, refurbishing, and testing devices to ensure quality and functionality. Build and maintain comprehensive equipment files and documentation. Download, configure, test, and deploy credit card terminals and POS systems. Maintain and utilize inventory logs to ensure accurate tracking of all equipment and supplies. Compile and generate regular inventory reports for management review. Conduct monthly and quarterly inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain and manage billing logs to support financial accuracy and reconciliation. Control and monitor the flow of equipment and supplies to prevent shortages or overstock. Provide regular reporting to management and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency. Facilitate and manage relationships with equipment vendors and logistics partners. Forecast future inventory requirements based on usage trends and business needs. Assist with some in-person installations Qualifications2+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, equipment deployment, or a related field. Experience configuring and deploying POS systems and/or credit card terminals preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel required). Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays
