Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Palo Alto Firewall Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize Palo Alto Networks security solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls and a solid understanding of network security principles to protect enterprise environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls (PA-Series, VM-Series)Manage security policies, NAT rules, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), and threat prevention profilesConfigure and manage Panorama for centralized firewall managementMonitor firewall performance, logs, and alerts; troubleshoot network and security issuesImplement security best practices, including application control, URL filtering, and SSL decryptionPerform firewall rule reviews, audits, and policy optimizationSupport network segmentation and Zero Trust security initiativesCollaborate with network, security, and IT teams to support business requirementsMaintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and network diagramsParticipate in change management and on-call support as requiredRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong experience with Palo Alto Networks firewallsHands-on knowledge of PanoramaExperience with IPSec and SSL VPN configurationsSolid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and network security conceptsExperience with security features such as Threat Prevention, WildFire, URL Filtering, and App-IDAbility to troubleshoot complex network and security issuesPreferred QualificationsPalo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSE.
