Our commitment to skilled technicians, reliable service, and effective solutions has been our priority for over five decades.What You'll DoPerform mechanical and hot/cold vulcanized splices on conveyor belts of varying widths, constructions, and ratingsConduct pre-job site assessments; communicate clearly with plant managers and maintenance leadsOperate vulcanizing presses and related equipment safely and with precisionDocument work completed, materials used, and belt conditions flagged for follow-upBuild and maintain professional relationships with recurring customers "” you're often the face of BMS on siteMentor and guide junior technicians as the team grows, setting the standard for quality and safetyMaintain tools and equipment; take ownership of your kitWho We're Looking For2-5 years of hands-on conveyor belt splicing experience preferred "” mechanical, vulcanized (or comparable experience in a related skilled trade such as millwright work, welding/fabrication, or industrial maintenance)Comfortable and safe in industrial environments: underground, elevated, confined, outdoorReliable, self-directed, and accountable "” you show up, finish the job, and communicate proactivelyValid driver's license; willingness to travel on a two-weeks-in-field / long-weekend-home scheduleA natural communicator who can hold a conversation with a plant manager as comfortably as a maintenance techAmbition to grow "” you're not looking for a job to coast in, you're looking for one to build something with
