Production Planner and Inventory Specialist

Krete Industries is looking for a Production Planner and Inventory Specialist to manage the flow of materials in and out of the organization, supporting efficient production/inventory levels, and on-time customer delivery.This role is responsible for coordinating inbound raw materials, overseeing production planning and scheduling, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and ensuring smooth order processing and shipping operations.This position will work with production, purchasing, sales, and shipping to balance demand, forecast inventory needs, adjust schedules, and communicate accordingly.About Krete Industries:Established in 1990 in Brookfield, WI, Krete Industries provides high-quality concrete admixtures and service solutions to the concrete industry. We are authentic, thorough, adaptable, and personable in everything we do.Tasks/Responsibilities:ManufacturingProduction SchedulingEnter Manufacturing Orders into Fishbowl softwareProcess production batch workflow (Batch tickets and production raw material pick)Establish daily/weekly production schedule based on incoming orders and inventory stock, advise production team on daily/weekly schedule and update production calendarRevise and update production schedule based on incoming orders and inventory stockClose completed manufacturing orders in production softwareInventoryMonitor and maintain finished goods and raw material inventory levels for all warehouse locations Review finished goods and raw material stock levels and work with purchasing to order raw materials based on anticipated forecast needs and required stock levelsReview finished goods stocking model, adjust accordingly based on current business conditionsReview and order miscellaneous supplies based on feedback from Production TeamCustomer ServiceIncoming Customer Order ProcessingProcess and enter customer sales and sample request orders into Fishbowl softwareProvide the Sales Order Confirmations to customers after orders have been entered and confirmedProvide customers and sales reps with product sales quotesProvide customers, sales reps, and team members with shipping quotes and final costs by utilizing freight carrier websites Monitor Krete Orders email inbox for new orders and respond to customer inquiries.Process and complete invoicesShippingIssue inventory picks for customer orders that are ready to shipAttain freight quotes utilizing freight carrier websites/softwareEnter freight quotes into Fishbowl softwareIssue Bill of Ladings and Pack Slips to Shipping DepartmentTrack all outbound and inbound customer orders, samples, raw materials, testing materials, etc. to confirm deliveryOther Work with Operations Leader in providing various inventory reports and analyticsMain/first person to answer incoming phone callsHandling general customer inquiries (shipping lead times, order status, architectural packages, PDS/SDS request, etc.)Assist Operations Leader in general office managementSkills:Time management and prioritizationEffective and personable communicatorCollaborative problem solverAdaptableTools: On the job trainingCompany processesPhone systemFishbowl Inventory SoftwareRequired:Bachelor degree and 3-5 years professional experience or 7-10 years professional experienceComputer (ERP, Microsoft Office, Google Calendar)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordProficiency in inventory softwareProficiency in production schedulingProficiency in freight shippingPreferred:Fishbowl Inventory SoftwareSlackHubSpot CRMBenefits offered:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)A 401(k)-retirement plan with company match (available after 1 year)
