Learn more about their mission and services at .Role DescriptionWaukesha Metal Products is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker for a full-time, on-site role at our Sussex, WI facility. The Tool & Die Maker will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies and tooling. Key daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating machinery, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring equipment performs at optimal levels. Additionally, the Tool & Die Maker will work closely with production teams to support manufacturing activities, maintain tool quality, and implement improvements for operational efficiency.QualificationsProficiency in toolmaking, die maintenance, and experience working with stamping diesAbility to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawingsExperience with operating machining equipment such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, and CNC machineryStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and precision measurement skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently when necessaryHighly organized with attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocolsJourneyman certification in Tool & Die Making is preferred, or equivalent experience in a related fieldPrevious manufacturing experience in industries such as automotive, defense, or energy is a plus
