We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist who can set up and run jobs with minimal supervision. This is not an entry-level operator role "” we are looking for someone with strong machining fundamentals, excellent judgment, and the ability to keep production moving in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.This position involves consistent overtime for the next several months, making it a strong opportunity for machinists looking to maximize earnings.Temp-to-HireScheduleMonday - Friday7:30 AM startTypical 9-10 hour shiftsMandatory overtime - Approximately 4 hours on SaturdaysHuntington Beach, CA$33/hourResponsibilitiesSet up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machinesWork with Haas and/or Fadal CNC machinesPerform machine setup, tool changes, offsets, and adjustmentsEdit programs directly at the machine (G & M code edits as needed)Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructionsInspect parts using precision measuring toolsTroubleshoot machining issues and adjust processes for accuracy and efficiencyMaintain quality standards for precision aerospace componentsRequired Qualifications5+ years of CNC machining experienceStrong hands-on experience with Haas and/or Fadal CNC millsAbility to independently set up and run multi-axis CNC machinesExperience making control-level program edits (G & M code)Strong blueprint reading skillsExperience using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision toolsExperience machining:AluminumStainless SteelInconelPreferred QualificationsAerospace machining experienceManual machining experience (mills, lathes, grinders)Experience with Nickel alloysStrong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving abilityPhysical & Hiring RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand for extended periodsU.S. Citizen required (government/defense contract work)Must be able to pass a criminal background checkIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a high-level CNC machinist who can handle their own setups, make machine-level program edits, and run multi-axis Haas or Fadal machines with minimal supervision.
